Creating New SiteDrop Links

This article will teach you to create custom SiteDrop links

Cirrus gives you the ability to create custom online forms (SiteDrop links) where you collect answers to questions and collect documents you specify. You can map these to Checklists that you create.

To start the setup of your new SiteDrop link, Go to Administration > System Setup > SiteDrop Links > Create New SiteDrop Link button. Follow the instructions below to complete your sitedrop link:

  1. Start by filling out the basic details like name, description (if needed), and the subdomain you want for the link
  2. You have the option to select the Answer Destination DocTitle as well.
    1. This is where the answers to your SiteDrop will flow as a PDF in your Checklist if you create it
    2. You must create the DocTitle for this prior to assigning it. For more on how to create a DocTitle, click here
  1. Next, you can set up the page title and the tag line. The page title will show at the top of your list of fields, and the tag line will show just below the title.
  2. Below the tag line you can set the language for the submit button
  3. Choose if the submission goes to all users.
  4. We recommend you enable Recaptcha to prevent spam bots from filling out your form, turn on Trusted Form, and enable the automatic creation of a checklist from the submission.
  5. On the right side of the creation page you start by selectin the checklist process and type that you will use to add doc titles to the link.
    1. This selection can be changed later.
  6. The Doc Title label format can pull information from completed fields to label documents, and the checklist name format is similar. You can decide how the name of the automatically created checklist will look after submission.
    1. Below the checklist name format is your projected closing date setting. Choose how far out from submission you want to set your projected closing.
  7. Next, add your instructions. We recommend typing and formatting information in Word, as it is much easier to copy and pasted the already formatted information than to try and type it out in the box.
    1. You can also add a tracking pixel if you have set up any marketing campaigns related to the SiteDrop page. You can add a completion message that displays after submission, and a conversion pixel as well.
  8. Below that is landing page content, which controls your welcome message, and the landing page button as well, which controls the words in the start button.
  9. Finally, you can decide if you want to fire a conversion pixel on the landing page for better tracking the success of your marketing campaign.

Once you have completed all of this information, some of which is optional, click save at the top right of your screen. This creates your SiteDrop Link!

Finally, here are a few more steps to take. These steps will control in more depth the content on the SiteDrop page.

  • You might notice after saving the initial creation page that some new tabs become available.
    • In the first one, Document Library, you can decide on any attachments you want included in your link.
    • Recipients is important if you did not select the Route to all Users option. You can decide who should receive the submission.
    • The form fields tab allows you to request information beyond the standard first name, last name, email, phone, and company.
      • Use the create new form field button to add more. Value options for multi-select fields can be separated by a semi-colon.
      • See this article for more on Custom Form Fields
    • Finally, the doc titles tab allows you to select what you would like to request in your link.

After making all of these adjustments, save again to see your changes. The details page will also have a link you can use to review the page from a borrower’s perspective. If you have any questions or need assistance in setting this up, please contact your Cirrus support representative.

If you are modifying your SiteDrop, but don't see the changes on the link when you check the SiteDrop, then go to the URL at the top of the browser, and add ?f=1 to the end of the URL, and refresh. This will update the page
