What is SiteDrop?

This article will teach you the basics of the SiteDrop feature in Cirrus

SiteDrops provide a secure upload link for your specific user profile, or as a company-wide option.  Borrowers can use this link to upload documents directly to you, without the need for a checklist.  This can be extremely useful in initial document collection prior to sending out a checklist link.

To access your unique SiteDrop upload link follow the steps below.

-  Click on your profile icon at the top right corner of your screen.

- Click “SiteDrop Settings”

In this menu, you can see the link, and even copy and paste it into your email signature to facilitate uploads by your borrowers.  You can also preview the link by clicking the text, and it will open another browser tab showing you your link.  Any information in your link is controlled in your profile, including the profile picture, phone, email, address, and more.

Once files have been uploaded, both you and your borrower will receive an email notification of the upload with a list of everything they provided.

To access the uploaded files, follow the below steps.

- click on the “SiteDrop” tab along the top of your screen.  (You should see a red indicator of new files received, as well as a notification in the bell icon next to your profile.)

- Inside the SiteDrop tab, you will see a list of all uploads you have received.  Using the actions menu, you can complete different actions.

- Clicking “View” allows you to review the documents that were received in the SiteDrop menu.

You can preview the documents, download them in a zip file, and mark them as reviewed if you no longer want it to display as new.

Using Sitedrop with Checklists:

In this menu you also have the ability to map the document to an existing checklist.  Simply click the button, and then select the checklist you want to map the files to out of the list.  Once the files are mapped, they will be visible in the portal of that checklist.

Clicking “Create New Checklist” will allow you to create a new deal using these documents.  It will open the standard menu, where you select your type and process.  Complete the menu and click “Create”, and the files will be mapped into the portal.  Then you simply drag and drop those documents into their doc titles after review.
