What can borrowers see, and what can they download in their Sent Checklist link?

This article will discuss what borrowers can do in their Sent Checklist link

The Sent Checklist is one of the most powerful tools in Cirrus.  It allows you to provide a secure and structured upload link for your borrowers.  You may wonder about what access borrowers have in the link, and what happens if multiple borrowers have access to the same link, so we will explain that in this article.

First and foremost, borrowers cannot download or view any information in the link you do not specifically make accessible.  What this means is that if two borrowers have access to the same link, they can see that the other has uploaded files, but cannot download or view those files.  You can choose to make certain files downloadable, in the case of an exception for example, and this can be done by adding it as an attachment in the edit sent Checklist menu.

Attachments are the only files your borrowers can actively download at any time.  If you would prefer to send separate links to each borrower, this can be done as well, though there is no risk to information security if you do not.

If you have any other questions about borrower access in their link, please contact your Cirrus support representative.
