This article will teach you about updating Checklist Templates and using the sync feature in Cirrus
We understand that there may be times where you need to make changes to Checklist Templates but do not want to impact your in-flight deals. That's why Cirrus has the Checklist “Sync” feature.
- First, Admin users will need to make the changes to Checklist DocTitle Mappings
- After those sorts of changes are made, any NEW Checklists that users create will reflect those changes.
- Additionally, users can update in-flight deals to include changes by clicking the Sync button.
- This sync will only ADD new requirements, but will not remove prior requirements
- For example, it's after April 15, 2022 and the Cirrus admin has updated your SBA Loan Checklist Template to include DocTitles for Personal Tax Return - 2021, and removed Personal Tax Return - 2018. However, the borrower already uploaded the Personal Tax Return - 2018 document. After the Sync, the Checklist will include a new DocTitle for Personal Tax Return - 2021, AND the DocTitle for Personal Tax Return - 2018, with the document uploaded to it, will remain in place.
Permission required: If you do not see the sync icon in the horizontal list of icons (two arrows making a circle), please contact your Cirrus Admin.
Updates to other items in Cirrus (Folders, DocTitles, Processes, etc)
- Renaming Folders or re-sorting items in a Folder will happen in real time
- Renaming DocTitles at the Admin level will only change the name of a DocTitle for NEW Checklists, but not for existing Checklists.
- Users (with permission) can still rename a DocTitle in their checklist, add/edit a description, add a DocTitle
- For those who are subscribed to DocTitle Date Controls: If an Effective Date or Expiration has been configured for a DocTitle at the Admin level, that field will appear in real time on the Checklist.
