This article will teach you how your notifications work, and where uploaded files go
Cirrus provides multiple different methods for receiving notifications, and based on the method of upload, you can track where the files went. Files can come in from SiteDrop, a Sent Checklist, or an application SiteDrop Link.
For all of these upload methods, you can receive an email notification as well as a notification via your notification center. The notification settings are controlled in your notification center, and is covered in the article here (add link to notifications article).
Files uploaded via SiteDrop will only be available through the SiteDrop tab. When you find the specific upload in your list, you can download the files via Zip, map them to an existing checklist, or map them to a new checklist. Files mapped this way will be available in the portal, the folder icon in the vertical list of icons in your checklist.
Files uploaded via a checklist can be placed in a few different locations. One is directly into Doc Titles. In the notification email you receive, you will see that document.pdf was uploaded to Doc Title. This is a good indicator of where to look. If it just shows that a file was uploaded this file went into the portal. There is also a possibility that an uploaded file replaced another and pushed a document into the recycle bin. If you suspect this is the case, you can look in the activity log for a file being replaced.
Application SiteDrop links function as a combination of the other upload options. They have a list of doc titles that can be uploaded, which will map directly to a Doc Title, but also have an open upload area which will map into the portal. These uploads also create a record in the SiteDrop page, but the files are automatically mapped to a new checklist, so you do not have to map them.
If you have any questions about file mapping or the location of a particular file, please contact your site admin or Cirrus support representative.
