Adding Checklist Notes

Adding notes to a checklist can be useful for a variety of reasons.  It may be to track key events through the loan process or to allow easier communication between users involved in the deal.  In any case, using the notes can be extremely useful for tracking date and time records in the deal. 

To access the notes menu in the checklist, click on the chat bubble icon in the sidebar menu.  This will open your checklist notes.  There are also notes specific to doc titles, so make sure you have not clicked on a Doc Title prior to clicking the notes menu.  In the menu, you will see all of the previous notes listed out in a feed format.  This means you will see recent notes first and the oldest at the bottom of the list. 

To add your note, simply type into the field at the top of the notes feed.  Once you have all of the information entered and have completed any formatting, click the save button at the bottom of the text field.  You can always edit the note by hovering over it in the feed and clicking “Edit” or delete it using the “Delete” button.
